Robert Gillmor (British b.1936)


Robert Gillmor is an ornithologist, artist, illustrator, author and editor based in Norfolk. He is the founder of the SWLA (Society of Wildlife Artists) and has also served on the council for the RSPB.

During the 1960's Gillmor embarked on his career as a wildlife artist, working in a variety of mediums ranging from watercolour to producing lino-cuts.

Recently, Gillmor completed a series of lino-cuts for postage stamps for Royal Mail.
