This striking abstract composition on a green background by modern Franco/Russian artist André Lanskoy is one of twenty prints produced as a large format portfolio with text for a 1976 illustrated version of Gogol's Diary of a Madman in an edition of only 100.Lanskoy's bold abstracts also illustrated one of the most important French livres de Peintre: Pierre Lecuire's monumental Cortège.
