Kenneth Quick (British, 1931-1963)

Kenneth Quick (1931-1963) and the Tregenna Hill Pottery
Kenneth Quick was a cousin of William Marshall, and worked at the Leach pottery between 1945 and 1955, and from 1960 up until his tragic death in a swimming accident in Japan. Between his Leach years Kenneth Quick set up his own pottery, Tregenna Hill, in the centre of St Ives. His range of tableware, despite being produced in small quantities, proved very popular.
